1 2024 – Jerry Seinfeld – Unfrosted
Jerry Seinfeld received the Razzie Award for Worst Actor for his role in Unfrosted, a comedy centered on the competition between Kellogg’s and Post to invent the first breakfast pastry. Although Seinfeld is widely recognized for his contributions to comedy, this film fell flat with both audiences and critics. The humor was criticized as forced and unoriginal, and the storyline failed to engage viewers. Seinfeld’s performance, in particular, was described as rigid and lacking energy.
2 2023 – Jon Voight – Mercy
Jon Voight, a veteran of the big screen and an Academy Award winner for Coming Home in 1979, has earned critical acclaim throughout his career, including four Oscar nominations. However, not all his roles have been well received. He was awarded the Razzie for Worst Actor for his performance in Mercy, a film about a former military officer caught in a crisis after her hospital is taken over by the Irish mob and her son is abducted. Despite Voight’s storied legacy, this particular role drew sharp criticism.
3 2022 – Jared Leto – Morbius
The movie was a major box-office failure and earned five Golden Raspberry Award nominations, including one for Worst Picture. Ultimately, it took home two Razzies: Worst Actor for Jared Leto and Worst Supporting Actress for Adria Arjona.
4 2021 – LeBron James – Space Jam: A New Legacy
Professional athletes don’t always shine on the big screen, and Space Jam: A New Legacy proved just that. The film picked up three Razzie Awards: Worst Actor for LeBron James, Worst Screen Combo for James and “any Warner cartoon character (or Time-Warner product) he dribbles on,” and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off, or Sequel.
5 2020 – Mike Lindell – Absolute Proof
Absolute Proof, a film produced by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, centers on the unfounded claim that a Chinese cyberattack altered the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The film was widely criticized and ultimately received two Golden Raspberry Awards: Worst Picture and Worst Actor for Lindell himself.
