Description
Microsoft Azure is one of the most widely used cloud platforms in the world, powering modern applications, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise infrastructure. This course/workshop is designed to take you from absolute beginner level to confidently using Azure through a practical, hands-on approach.
We begin with Azure fundamentals including account setup, Azure Portal navigation, and understanding core terms like subscription, tenant, resource groups, and resources. You will learn Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) by deploying real Virtual Machines (Linux/Windows) and understanding how cloud helps you run servers without purchasing hardware.
Next, the workshop covers essential cloud architecture topics such as Azure regions, availability zones, and the importance of high availability and disaster recovery. You will also build strong foundational understanding of Azure networking including VNet, subnet, IP addressing, and gateways.
The course then moves to Kubernetes on Azure using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). You will learn why managed Kubernetes is important and how to connect and control AKS clusters using Azure CLI and kubectl. Finally, you will deploy a real application using Kubernetes YAML manifests and services like LoadBalancer.
You will also learn Platform as a Service (PaaS) using Azure App Services, plus real DevOps integration using GitHub-based CI/CD and Deployment Center. Azure Blob Storage will be used for practical object storage and serving static application content.
