Tortured body of 16-year-old girl found in Khokhrapar, Karachi, sexual assault revealed

A tortured body of a girl has also been found in the Khokhra Par area of ​​​​Shahr-e-Quaid Karachi.

Another day another case! The body of a 16-year-old girl found outside the house, sexual violence with the girl was revealed. The 16-year-old girl was brutally murdered by strangulation after torture. Areeba’s body was found near the Medina Mosque in the D-1 area. The body has been shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for legal action.

Explaining the incident, the police said that the deceased girl has been identified as 16-year-old Areeba. The police have taken four people into custody from an under-construction house near the scene on suspicion. A slipper belonging to the murdered girl was recovered from the house of two of the arrested, while the third suspect is the girl’s neighbor.

According to the police spokesperson;

All the people taken into custody are being questioned and more details are yet to be revealed.
Police said that the body of 16-year-old Areeba was found in an alley next to the house. The girl’s body bears signs of torture and a noose has also been tied. According to the SHO, there are 3 to 4 houses in the street where the body was found, one of which is under construction. When the police searched the under-construction house, a slipper belonging to the victim was recovered from there, which her father identified. According to the police, a murder case has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s father, Muhammad Ahmed, in which action has initially been taken against unknown suspects.

The post-mortem report has found evidence of rape of the girl, however, a detailed report is awaited for final confirmation. Officials said that the girl lived in a house in D-1 area with her father and siblings. The girl’s father had divorced her mother, and investigations are ongoing. If rape is confirmed during the post-mortem, DNA samples will be collected during the medical examination of the detainees and sent to the laboratory, which will be compared with the sample obtained in the girl’s post-mortem.

Further investigation is underway and full details of the incident will be made public soon. On the other hand, according to Police Surgeon Dr. Samia Syed, evidence of sexual violence has been found on the girl. DNA samples have been taken to confirm the rape. Dr. Samia Syed says that the cause of death will be known after the reports come. The deceased’s father said that his daughter Areeba was the elder of two siblings and she went out after giving them food and did not return. The deceased’s father has expressed suspicion on his neighbors. The police have assured that all possible steps will be taken to bring the accused to justice.
