Three Pakistani Schools Nominated for 2025 World’s Best School Prizes
Three Pakistani Schools have been named finalists for the 2025 edition of the prestigious World’s Best School Prizes, an internationally recognized award presented by T4 Education. The shortlisted schools include two from Lahore and one from Quetta, chosen for their outstanding contributions across key categories such as innovation, community involvement, and resilience in the face of adversity.
Lahore Schools Shine on Global Stage
Among the Lahore-based institutions, Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust Higher Secondary School was recognized under the “Overcoming Adversity” category. Situated in Glaxo Town, the school has evolved from a repurposed factory into a state-of-the-art educational facility serving over 800 students. It has made significant strides in providing quality education to underprivileged children by integrating the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Primary Years Programme (PYP), preparing students with essential 21st-century skills.
The second Lahore institution, Nordic International School, was shortlisted under the “Community Collaboration” category. The school is known for fostering a nurturing environment rooted in empathy and active parental involvement. Its mission centers on creating a compassionate educational space that supports both academic excellence and emotional well-being.
Quetta’s STEM Initiative Gains Global Recognition
From Quetta, Beaconhouse College Program’s Juniper Campus was highlighted for its innovative “Science Gaari” project. This mobile STEM education initiative, supported by UNICEF, delivers science lessons to remote and underserved communities using a student-led traveling science lab. The project earned its spot in the “Community Collaboration” category due to its creative approach to expanding educational access.
Public Voting and Global Summit
All 50 shortlisted schools are now eligible to compete in the public voting round for the Community Choice Award. Final winners will be announced in October and invited to attend the World Schools Summit in Abu Dhabi this November. T4 Education founder Vikas Pota commended the Pakistani finalists for their innovative approaches and meaningful contributions, describing them as a source of hope and global educational progress.
