Although she was once among the most searched names in adult entertainment, Rhoades has since expressed deep regret over her past decisions, citing the severe impact it had on her mental health. In a 2021 interview on Harry Jowsey’s Tap In podcast, she shared her desire to erase all traces of her content from the internet, lamenting that she has no legal rights over many of her videos.
“If I had the power, I’d remove everything,” she said. “I would trade it all just to feel respected again and not have people view me that way.”
Rhoades has spoken candidly in the past about her negative experiences in the industry. In a now-private video from the podcast 3 Girls One Podcast, she recounted an especially traumatic scene that led her to question whether her career choices had been worth it.
“One of the worst experiences… sometimes I think I’m still in denial about what happened,” she admitted. “There was one scene I tried to discuss with a therapist — it was particularly difficult for me.”
She described being forced into an extreme and degrading act that left a lasting emotional impact. “A man gagged me until I vomited into a bowl, then urinated in it,” she said. “He asked me to drink from it, and I didn’t know how to refuse.”
“It was one of the most dehumanizing things I’ve ever endured,” she added.
Other former adult performers, including Mia Khalifa and Eden Alexander, have similarly spoken out about the harsh realities of the industry. Alexander, for example, said she consented to certain scenes without fully understanding the severity of what she was agreeing to.
Many experts argue that the adult entertainment industry often exploits and objectifies women, profiting from their humiliation and suffering. While some audiences believe that consent justifies all actions, critics point out that the pressure and power imbalance can make it incredibly difficult for performers to speak up or refuse certain acts.
