Dubai Police have foiled the theft of a rare pink diamond worth billions of rupees and arrested 3 suspects in just 8 hours. According to Gulf media, Dubai Police have successfully foiled an attempt to steal an extremely rare pink diamond worth $25 million (91.8 million dirhams and more than 7 billion Pakistani rupees). The robbery attempt was carried out by a group of three people, all of whom were Asian nationals. Authorities took swift action to arrest the suspects and arrested them within just eight hours of receiving the crime report.

The pink diamond, which is said to weigh 21 carats, is considered one of the rarest diamonds in the world. The gang allegedly planned to steal it after they discovered that the diamond had recently arrived in Dubai from a local businessman. Using fake identities, the suspects contacted the businessman and posed as intermediaries for a "wealthy buyer". To build credibility, they rented luxury cars and even brought a so-called "expert jeweler" with them.

The suspects' strategy convinced the businessman to remove the diamond from its safe location and bring it to a private villa to view it. It was in this villa that the gang took advantage of the opportunity to steal this rare diamond. However, Dubai Police, led by the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Criminology, quickly identified the suspects and raided their residences, recovering the stolen diamond, which was hidden inside a small refrigerator from where the gang planned to smuggle it to an unknown Asian country.
